Ok, I'm really not one to complain about Dee like most people here. But she just spelled ridiculous "rediculous." It's understandable from commenters, but from the blogger? I'm never clicking on another article with Dee's name on it.

If you can play, regardless of gender or anything else, you should play. As an Islanders fan, I'd love for them to give that great Finnish goalie a shot lol she can't be much worse than Nabby/Poulin/Nilsson.

The spelling/grammar is inane to complain about...but her blogs never offer new content. It's sort of a hodge podge of randomly collected one-liner recaps every time. *shrug.

After Dee's thought provoking blog that ended up being shut down and Ek's craptastic take on the matter the day before, I tuned in last night to watch the USA / Canada replay.

You know, the best women hockey players in the world, those gals.....They would get absolutely demolished. There's just no comparison.

First point I agree... but if you think a Woman can play in the NHL based on athletic ability you are out of your mind... I would love to see it.. truly would. That said.. it will not happen. ..ever.

Hopefully their hot if they play, that would make shower time after games much more interesting for the players

Yeah, exactly- that's the problem. It's not that they can't PLAY as well as men. It's that they're not 6'3", and if they are, they're not 240 pounds of muscle. It's like someone else said- how many players do you want pay to be on IR? Men are just larger, and in sports where that matters, it's just not feasible. Prime example- a woman COULD kick field goals- until one gets blocked. Then she'd leave the field on a stretcher after 1,700 pounds of man land on top of her trying to pick up the football. Substitute that with "play goal", and have a bunch of guys crash the net, and it's the same result.
